Milwaukee to Madison is a no-big-deal drive, which works perfectly because Kansas City to Austin (our drive on Wednesday) is 12 hours so we'll need the stamina. As someone who is reading this blog currently, you may know that we're kinda living the dream. Sort of. We stayed at a place called the "Select Inn". Never heard of it? Me neither. Well either way, after checking into the most select of Inn's we headed to downtown Madison (right near the excellent looking state capital building) to our show at The Frequency, a less-than-a-year-old club on Madison's Main Street.
Cool club with a cool vibe. To open the show, a local band called Being Humans played. According to their myspace they play progressive, melodic, epic rock n roll and I totally agree. They reminded me of a harder version of early Genesis. Plus they were all really nice dudes. Hopefully we can have them to Chicago at some point.
We chilled in the green room right before our show:
Then we rocked, hard.
Later,
Josh
